DFS/USA is proud to offer our customers various parts produced from one of our Hydromat Rotary Transfer Machines.
The Hydromats consist of a modular system with up to 12 horizontal and 6 vertical tool-spindle units. This includes an "inverting" unit which removes the workpiece from the collet, turns it end-for -end and places it precisely back into the same collet. This gives us the capability to machine the backside of any part.
Our Hydromats continuously perform various types of machining operations such as drilling, cross drilling, boring, turning, milling, external and internal recessing, threading, tapping and broaching.
Being hydraulically controlled, the Hydromats maintain infinitely variable feeds for each tool spindle.
A Hydromat part is more cost effective, eliminating the need for outside secondary operations.
