A safety factor of 4:1, or 25% of ultimate, should be used.
Critical applications (vibratory loads, overhead installations, etc.)
may require a safety factor of as much as 10:1 or more.



What advantages are there?
Unlike other security type anchors...no special tools and no welding are required to secure anchor. A hammer is all you need.

Only one anchor to be inventoried for round head and flat head applications.

Installation Procedure

  1. Drill hole of sufficient depth using same diameter DFS Drill Bit as anchor being installed.
  2. Select head style (round/flat)...then turn Security Nut flush with the top of anchor. Insert anchor into predrilled hole.
  3. Drive in Set Pin with hammer until flush. Use 2-3 lb. hammer for small anchors and 4-5 lb. hammer for medium and large anchors.
  4. Slotted anchor base expands into concrete. Anchor is set!
